Camera Operators'work might seem easy but it is not. They are the ones in charge of filming the sequences in a production. Shooting does not only mean to point the person who is talking with a camera, camera operators have to arrange, report malfunction and maintain their cameras and equipment (changing lenses, clean them, etc).

Camera operators can work in movies or TV shows and do live transmissions. While a live transmission is done, they have to think fast in order to get the best shoot. On the other hand, when they are working in a set, they have to be familiar with the script, so they can get the shoot that transmits the feeling of the moment.

There are some ways to become a camera operator, you can get a bachelor degree, or an Associates of Arts degree in a Community college, you can study it on line too. Even when the education is important, the experience is even more. The more years you have in your Camera Operator Resume the more you will get paid.
